Final of 9th Miss Tourism Culture World to be held in Wanning
According to the organizing committee, the China Final of the 9th Miss Tourism Culture World 2012 is going to be held at the end of October at Wanning City, Hainan Province.
This year, the event is seen as more than a pageant. Young beauties across the country participating in the event will be educated in China’s cultural and architectural heritage, in order to promote China’s rich tourism resources.
At present, the Pageant has set up divisions in 20 cities and provinces including Beijing, Sichuan, Guangdong and Fujian.
The first three winners from each city will gather at the final contest. They will show off their talents and performances for the entrance to the 9th Miss Tourism Culture World to be held next year.
The Miss Tourism Culture World has been held in eight countries across the world. It was introduced to China in 2011 and will be held in China annually for eight years.
