Lingerie-clad Geri Halliwell poses for Next’s new compaign
She’s confessed to battling with her weight in the past.
But Geri Halliwell shows off her flawless figure with pride for the Next’s new lingerie campaign.
The 39-year-old previously designed a range of swimwear and evening dresses for the high street chain.
Hello boys! Geri Halliwell models her lingerie range for Next, available in spring 2011
Affordable: Average bra retails for £24 and knickers around £12
But the former Spice Girl turned to lingerie to offer women the chance to impress partners – and feel good about themselves.
The range, available in A-DD cup, will hit stores in Spring 2012.
The bras and knickers, retailing at around £24 and £12, include animal prints, vintage-style florals and a raspberry pink set for Valentine’s Day.
Geri said: ‘Basically, my aim was to make boobs look bigger and bums smaller!
‘I feel I understand women’s bodies. This was my chance to do the sort of underwear for girls that the boys would like too, if you know what I mean!’
Pretty in pink: Detailing include ribbon, dainty rose-bud trims, butterfly-motif embroidery and delicate lace
Feminine and flirty: Geri designed the underwear to flatter women – and please men
Figure-flattering techniques include curvy cup shape, contoured to caress the bust and deliver knock-out cleavage.
Gently padded bras have a built-in push-up effect.
And Geri’s quick to point out that her designs are every bit as functional as they are glamorous and alluring: ‘So the knicker shapes had to be very flattering.’
‘Know what? You can’t have the show without the business!’
