The 16th Hainan Carnival is set to be held in Haikou and Ding’an from November 27th to December 3rd, 2015.
This year, Haikou is the main venue for the carnival. The opening ceremony of the carnival will be held at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center on November 28th. The ceremony will combine the 2015 Hainan International Ocean Tourism Expo and 2015 Hainan International RV Camping Expo, which together cover a total area of about 35,000 square meters.
To encourage everyone to come out and enjoy this year’s events, there are various festive events ongoing in the city, such as Jeju-themed performances, the Haikou RV Camping Carnival and Haikou Electronic Music Festival at Haikou Century Park, a One-thousand-person Taichi Practice, and a Color Run at the Haikou Evergreen Park and West Coastline.
As the sub-venue for the Hainan Carnival, Ding’an will also host a series of events to celebrate the yearly festival, including the 2015 Hainan Food Expo, the 2015 China (Hainan) International Eaglewood Tourism Expo, and the 2015 Hainan Opera.
The Hainan Carnival is a provincial-level tourism festival held yearly throughout various cities and counties of Hainan Island for the purpose of promoting the tourism industry and tourism related industries on Hainan Island.
