Haikou Int’l Youth Experimental Arts Festival to kick off on Aug 23
Experimental art festival celebrates the creative vitality of urban culture- First Haikou International Youth Experimental Arts Festival grand opening, an experiment inspired to create knowledge exchange.
From August 23 to September 8, the highly anticipated first Haikou International Youth Experimental Arts Festival will transform the centuries-old streets of Haikou into a grand stage on which artists – both upcoming and established – from around the world will showcase their creativity.
Organized by the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting and Sports, Thinking Hands Beijing, Ltd. and Star Group, Ltd., the Haikou International Youth Experimental Arts Festival sets a new vision of art in Chinese urban life, one that is rooted firmly in Haikou’s local cultural resources. HIYEAF will use music, video, performing and visual arts to create knowledge exchange and encourage local young Chinese artists to follow their creative passions more firmly onto their own artistic path.
This two-week festival will not only provide art lovers with a valuable artistic experience, but also create a more dynamic and creative Haikou.
