The 2013 Haikou Tourism Wedding Festival is to kick off on May 10th, and so far, 66 couples have signed up to participate in the 4-day event.
 
Participating couples are to attend more varied activities including the wedding ceremony on the vast ocean, making their vows on volcanos as well as the wedding celebration dinner on the yacht.
 
The previous tourism wedding festivals attracted a total of 296 couples. This year a 2000-square-meter offshore platform will be built on the west coast to offer a wedding ceremony combining Chinese and Western traditions on the sea, with many more couples expected to take part.
