Activities to be held on 10th Hainan Yingbin Dragon Water Festival
The 10th Hainan Yingbin Dragon Water Festival will kick off on June 21st-23rd in Chengmai County.
Jinjiang Town, Laocheng Town and Fushan Town have been selected as the three venues to celebrate the annual festival. The 10th Hainan Yingbin Dragon Water Festival will highlight 4 main activities:
1. Chengmai Original Singing Competition
Hosted by the Sanya Arts Group, the singing competition will be held at Jinjiang Town. At present, 23 original songs will be performed to celebrate the event. Singers from the primary selection held in Beijing and Haikou will get the chance to gather in Chengmai to compete for the total prize of 1 million yuan.
2. 2012 National Dragon Boat Invitation Tournament (Chengmai Stop)
The dragon boat race is to be held on June 19th-22nd on Nandu River in Jinjiang Town. 12 teams from Fujian, Hunan, Hubei, Guangdong and Hong Kong will participate in the event. The total prize is 350,000 yuan, with the winner being awarded of 100,000 yuan.
3. 1st ‘Fushan Cup’ International Coffee Master Challenge
The 1st ‘Fushan Cup’ International Coffee Master Challenge Competition will kick off on June 22nd-23rd Fushan Coffee Culture & Romance Town in Laocheng Town.
It is so far the highest level of coffee master challenge event in China. A total of 25 winners from different countries including China, Colombia, Brazil, Vietnam, United States, Italy, New Zealand, Korea, Japan and Malaysia have been confirmed to be attending the event.
4. National Youth Judo Championships
The National Youth Judo Championships will be held at Sports Stadium at Chengmai Middle School on June 16th-18th.
A total of 554 judo players across the country will be contesting in their respective weight categories.
