Hainan original dance performance ‘Li People’s Story’ stages in Haikou

A fascinating Hainan original dance performance named the Li People’s Story grandly staged at the Hainan Theater Center this Monday Evening.

Performed by the Hainan Dance Group, the performance is created to rediscover the Li ethnic minority’s culture and show their wisdom in pursuing good life over centuries on the island.

The Li People’s Story has been selected out as part of performances in the 4th National Ethnic Minority Arts Festival which is to be held at Beijing Tiaoqiao Cultural Square on June 25^th and 26^th.

As one of the 41 plays performed by artists from all 56 ethnic groups across China, the Li People’s Story will present the audience with original beauty of dancing arts.
