Hosted by the organizing committee of ‘Haikou in Spring’ Tourism Arts Festival and undertaken by Haikou Tourism Development Commission, the 2nd ‘Haikou in Spring’ Tourism Arts Festival will kick off during the period of September 27, 2012 to February 27, 2013.

 

This year’s editionl will move into a higher level by introducing more overseas and domestic quality products to provide a sumptuous cultural feast for residents of the Coconut City and visitors from home and abroad.

 

Last year, the 1st Haikou in Spring’ Tourism Arts Festival was held from 24th December, 2011 and 6th February, 2012, presenting 51 brilliant tourism art performances through the efforts by the 2,000 foreign and domestic artists and staff members from 10 countries.

 

At present, with the attraction of a broad spectrum of the arts, a citywide selection of artists and works is ongoing to highlight the characteristics of the local art culture in Hainan.
