The annual Hainan Longquan Wenchang Chicken (International) Food Festival was kicked off in Haikou on April 7, 2012.

 

On the opening ceremony, nearly 100 representatives from Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Fujian attended round-table conference to discuss how to make contribution for the construction of Hainan International Tourism and the Hainan catering industry.

 

According to the organizers, the Longquan Wenchang Chicken (International) Gourmet Festival has been successfully held for 12 consecutive years, which is intended to create a Hainan Cuisine brand and to promote the culture of Hainan Cuisine.

 

In addition to the delicious dishes available to sample, a series of activities such as cooking competitions by masters, golf tournament invitation and one-day tour for Longquan loyalty customers will be held following the kick-off ceremony.

 

The food festival will last till April 30.
