Hainan Airlines forecasts attributable net profit to double in 1st half 2010
Hainan Airlines forecasts first half net profit attributable to shareholders to double year-on-year, reports 163.com, citing a company filing.
Hainan Airlines attributes the surge in net profit to the recovery of the air travel market, improved operational efficiencies and business brought about by the construction activities to turn Hainan province into an international tourism destination.
According to the filing, the company recorded net profit of 175 million yuan in the first half of 2009. Earnings per share was 0.051 yuan.
The 2010 Semi-Annual Report of Hainan Airlines will be released on August 28.
