A painting exhibition in celebration of Chinese lunar New Year is being held at Sanya Bihailantian Community Art Gallery from February 4 to February 6, 2014.

More than 40 paintings themed on lotus flowers are on display to attract visitors to appreciate the beauty of the Chinese traditional painting arts.

All the exhibits are created by Li Yijing, a Zen painting master and also a member of the China Artists Association. According to Li, the concept of Zen involves the pursuit of harmony between mankind and nature.
 
The exhibition is an important part of the ART • SANYA Art Festival, and it is co-organized by the Sanya Municipal People’s Government, Propaganda Department of Sanya Municipal Party Committee, Sanya Municipal Bureau of Culture and Sport and Sanya Tourism Development Committee.
