Mr Victor Restis, CEO of Restis Group, makes 6-day visit to Hainan

On the afternoon of July 17, 2010, Wei Liucheng, Secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial People's Congress, met with Victor Restis, Chief Executive Officer of Restis Group, and his delegation in Haikou.
 
Both parties talked about the further mutual cooperation in relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
 
It is informed that this was the second visit of Mr. Restis to Hainan Province within less than one month. The working group of experts in urban development, sport guessing, project construction, etc. led by Mr. Restis would conduct a six-day investigation in Hainan Province and discuss with relevant departments about the details of cooperation. Restis group has nearly 100-year history and owns eight listed companies. With business involving in shipping, shipbuilding, banking, real estate, tourism, civil aviation, culture and media, the Restis Group intends to make investment on yacht, real estate, sport guessing, logistics, aviation, etc. in Hainan Province.
 
Wei Liucheng expressed appreciation for the sincerity and enthusiasm of Mr. Restis's investment to Hainan Province and he believed that this investment would be a wise decision of Restis Group. Wei Liucheng said that an important objective of Hainan International Tourism Destination was to preliminarily set up the world class island travel destination and resort in 2020. In order to achieve the above object, currently the vital task is to further carry forward the construction of travel hardware facilities, make every effort to improve the travel management level, perfect the travel service system and speed up the international step of travel industry; therefore powerful and experienced internationally famous enterprises, like Restis Group, are warmly welcomed to invest in Hainan Province, take part in the construction of International Tourism Destination and promote the earlier internationalization of Hainan travel factors.
 
Mr. Restis said that he was deeply impressed by the resources and natural endowment of Hainan Province to develop the travel industry and expected another visit to Hainan since the previous one on June, 25. During the second visit, he will lead his working group to deeply understand Hainan and plan specific programs. Mr. Restis expects substantial cooperation with Hainan Province as soon as possible and at the same time he said that he would like to provide consulting service for Hainan Province on urban planning, etc..
