12 businesses from ASEAN member countries are showing their products at the Southeast Asian Tourism Goods Expo Tour which opened at Qiongzhou Cultural Street in Haikou on May 20, 2012.

Products on display include textile and garment, handicrafts, food and beverage and decorative items. Besides, visitors can also enjoy a Thai cultural show every day until Saturday.

Organizers said the expo provided a good chance for businesses between Hainan and Southeast Asian countries to introduce their products and set up strong import-export networks.

Enterprises from Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar and Cambodia will set up their businesses in Haikou this August.

In 2010, ASEAN became Hainan’s second biggest trade partner. ASEAN exports rice, woven fabrics, refined fuel and coal to Hainan.
