Hainan International Creative Harbour to open to public in Haikou
People living in Haikou will have the opportunity to visit the creative products in Hainan International Creative Harbour as it is expected to open to the public on April 1st, reports hainan.news.cn.
On March 22nd, five huge robots made from scrapped parts of cars and motorcycles are on display in front of the Haikou People’s Great Hall. These robots, transported by Hainan International Creative Harbour from Shenzhen have attracted many people to visit and take pictures.
According to the person in charge of Hainan Sphinx Cultural Industry Investment CO., Ltd, upon its opening, visitors can visit and purchase over 2000 of the latest and world-class creative-theme products in its fields related to agriculture, daily life and tourism.
Located in the CBD area of Haikou City with an area of 36,000 square meters, Hainan International Creative Harbour is the first homegrown creative design industry foundation of Hainan.
The project of the harbor includes 2 phases and the first phase of the project will be opened and operated in April, 2011.
Currently, 53 high-end design companies and organizations from home and abroad have signed up for admission into the creative industry estate, and more than 30 companies will settle in on the day of its trial operation.
