The 2012 China (Hainan) International Agarwood Tourism Expo is scheduled to be held from April 6 to April 9 at Wenbi Peak Cultural Tourism Resort, Ding’an County, Hainan Province.

 

With a theme of ‘Developing the Green Economy, Building into an International Agarwood Island’, the agarwood exhibition has attracted a large number of exhibitors from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Yunan and the other Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore.

 

Covering a total area of 1,300 hectares, the exhibition will hold around 100,000 visitors. 100 different types of agarwood sculptures, crafts and carvings will be on display and some precious collection of agarwood works will make their debut on the show.

 

Besides, a wide range of activities like international agarwood forum, precious agarwood appreciation show and traditional folk performances will be held during the period.
