1st wine affair at WOS Beach Bar on February 28
A dozen of wine connoisseurs and guests gathered at WOS Bar on the Thursday evening to sample and enjoy the wine tasting exercise. The wine sampled was Riesling 2009 Mark Davidson Tamburlaine Wines.
Apart from the wine host Michael Stening from Australia who stole the show with his palatable wine, the other two attention grabbing guests were the young trainee models from Chengdu.
Guests and wine connoisseurs alike were sampling wine, enjoying the company of the two stunners. The atmosphere was multinational with guests from Shanghai, Chengdu, Xiamen, Sanya, Australia, New Zealand, France, UK and USA.
The Wine Affair was lucky to have Oreo Peuportier as the resident wine critic. The majority of the guests gave a thumb up to the wine of the evening.

1. Fruity, complexity of flavour, well balanced good young wine.
2. It is actually a good match with seafood.
3. It smells of lime and green fruit.
4. It is really a good wine to enjoy with any food or on its own.
5. It’s long after taste is a mark of a good wine.
Dubbed 葡萄酒之夜, "The Wine Affair" wine tasting promotion is to be held each Thursday at WOS Bar for the next 6 weeks, commencing 28th Fen 2013. .
Each week on Thursday, there will be one special wine selected for tasting. Each and every guest who comes to the party will receive glasses of complimentary wine. Their name cards will be placed on the prize box which winner is to be drawn at the end of the 3rd week.
This wine tasting exercise will start at 6pm and end at 7pm on Thursday night. The event is co-organized by Michael Stening from Tamburlaine Wine and WOS Beach Bar.
Every week, a wine will be selected by Michael from the Mark Davidson Tamburlaine’s range of wine. The Mark Davidson Tamburlaine wine comes from the Orange region of New South Wales in Australia.
