Sanya will host its first ever cooking competition at the end of this year to highlight the city’s top 10 traditional dishes, according to a conference held by the Sanya Tourism Development Commission on July 12th.

At the conference, organizers said the cooking contest is set to attract local and tourist attention to the city.

Besides this, the contest will become part of the Sanya Cuisine Festival, which has been transformed into a local festival.

The event will feature cooks from many hotels and restaurants across the city, who will show off their professional skills to make the contest a tourist highlight for the city.
