Cold air bringing temperatures down in Hainan
Incoming Wave of Chills
According to the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) forecast report, cold air moving southwards will cause temperatures in Hainan to plunge gradually yet constantly in the course of the next 7 days. The humidity level will on its part see a rise.
Many parts of Hainan including Haikou, Sanya and Wuzishan are getting ready to face temperatures ranging from 11°C-30°C, the coldest days expecting to be Thursday and Friday, with 11°C to 15°C.
Typhoon Melor: Extra Factor
Past and Forecast Track of Typhoon Melor
On December 11th, the CMA had announced the 27th Typhoon of the year (Typhoon Melor) starting off at 2p.m. in in the East Philippines and making its way towards the Pacific Northwest Ocean at a speed of 20km/h.
Even though Typhoon Melor is unlikely to hit China, it still further increases the chillness of the air and brings along massive rains.
Consequently, prepare warm clothes and don’t go out without your umbrellas!
