The Sanya government has launched a major effort to recruit more talented individuals and experts both from home and abroad in various fields to help promote the economic and social development of the city.
 
The program aims to attract talented individuals to work in a variety of fields including modern agriculture, marine industry, culture and sports, modern services, Internet, pharmacy, low-carbon manufacture, and real estate.
 
Under the plan, the government is also working out favorable policies for new talent in terms of housing, allowance, taxation, social insurance, medical care, research projects subsidy, children education and spouse settlement, career development, research, and government awards for making breakthroughs in key technologies.
