A delegation of representatives from Belorussian travel operators visited Sanya in a bid to boost tourism cooperation between the two areas.
 
This June, members of the nine well-known Belorussian media delegations visited Sanya and took a close look at Sanya’s tourism offerings. After back home, they started a range of coverage on Sanya tourism, which proved very successful and aroused great interest among the Belorussian tourism sector and the local media.
 
A tourism promotion conference was held by Sanya Tourism Development Commission on October 22 at Sanya Marriott Yalong Bay Resort & Spa to promote Sanya’s unique tropical tourism products to the Belorussian market.

Mr. Tang commented that the launch of direct flights between Minsk, the capital of of Belarus and Beijing in May, have brought about great conveniences for the Belorussian tourists planning to visit Sanya.
 
The Belorussian delegation toured around some of the city’s hotels and scenic spots during their 11-day visit to give some suggestions for the sectors to design more tailored tourism products for Belorussian tourists so that they can enjoy top-quality holidays and leisure vacations here.
