Zhang Qi, a member of Provincial Standing Committee of Hainan and Secretary of the Sanya Municipal Committee extended a warm welcome to the delegation at the signing ceremony in the afternoon of August 4th.
 
Mr. Zhang Qi also highlighted to the delegation the tourism environment, preferential policies and industrial development of Sanya. He said that Sanya should vigorously develop its tourism and learn from Miami, which is commonly referred to as the capital of the cruise industry. He also said that both sides could seek cooperation in the cruise industry.
 
According to the memo signed, both sides will also consolidate and strengthen the enterprises’ cooperation in the field of tourism, culture industry, IT industry, education industry, and more.
 
 
Sanya has been eying opportunities to build itself into a major sea transport and tourism hub in the region and continues to boost its maritime sector.
