The competition provides an ideal platform for tourism practitioners to demonstrate their morale, devotion to career, and service skills through six individual event categories including hotel receptionists service quality test, table-setting for Chinese and western flavored banquets, cocktail mixing, Chinese-style bed-making, and fruit and vegetable carvings.

295 contestants from 44 hotels in the “Big Sanya Tourism Circle” engaged in the 2-day competitions. Contestants showcased their professional skills, appearance, and manners, as well as their foreign language skills.

The event intends to nurture a group of model workers who can lead the industry to improve the service skills of workers in the industry in Sanya.

Other tourism service skills competitions among scenic spots and travel agents will be held in mid-August and mid-September, respectively.
