The 2015 Sanya Hotel Service Skills Competition will be held in mid-July, aiming to boost the service standards in the travel industry.
The event is jointly hosted by the Sanya Tourism Development Commission, Sanya Tourism Association and Sanya Human Resource and Social Security Bureau. 
The competition attracts contestants from starred hotels, travel agents, scenic spots and tourism shopping sites. Specific competitions included banquet table settings, cocktail mixing, Chinese/Western-style bed-making, and fruit and vegetable carvings.
The event intends to nurture a group of model workers who can lead the industry to improve service skills of workers in the industry in Sanya.
Starting from now, anyone who has worked in the service industry in the city is eligible to take part in the event. Registration will close on July 10. For more detailed information, contact 0898-88672268.
