Sanya is constructing 3 more cross-river bridges – Ronggen Bridge, Yuejin Bridge and Yueming Bridge to help share the ever-increasing amount of vehicles across the Sanya River.
 
 Ronggen Bridge
 
The reconstruction work on the Ronggen Bridge is underway by widening the original bridge from 15 meters to 35.6 meters. The whole bridge is set to reopen to traffic on July 15th.
 
Besides, construction work on the Yueming Bridge and Yuejin Bridge will start soon.
 
The Yuejin Bridge, linking the intersection of Hexi Road and Yuejin Road to Hedong Road, will be 330 meters in length and 30 meters in width with dual six-lane runways. Upon its completion, the bridge will have an hourly capacity of 2,700 vehicles.
 
 Yueming Bridge
 
The Yueming Bridge, linking Hexi Road and Chuanbei Road, will be 453 meters long and 34 meters wide with dual two-lane runways. The feasibility study for the project has been completed.
