Sanya tops China’s hottest destination list during Duanwu Festival holiday

Statistics released by a reputable Chinese travel agency show that Sanya topped the list of most popular tourist destinations in China during the three-day Dragon Boat or Duanwu Festival.

Sanya’s tourism industry is still booming despite the traditional tourist off-season in June. Short-distance tours including family tours, rural tours, and holiday tours have heated up Sanya’s summer tourist market.

Many scenic spots in the city have launched a selection of enticing discounts for travelers.

At the same time, in order to get a piece of the tourism market during this brief peak, many hotels are offering personalized family packages for parents and kids, including of family activities and youth activities such as camping and teen golf.
