Scenic spots and hotels in Sanya have seen a significant increase in tourist numbers for the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival, reports have suggested.  

 

According to statistics from Qunar, China’s largest online travel site, Sanya is among the most popular destinations in China for family tours during the summer vacation.  

 

Statistics from local travel agents show that recently there has been a 30 percent increase in travel packages booked to Sanya.    

 

Many parents with children are planning trips to Sanya, where family members can enjoy quality time together in a relaxed, vacation environment.  

 

As the number of family tours continue to grow, travel agencies and hotels are offering competitive summer vacation promotions, including accommodations, special activities and money-saving deals.
