Hainan Int’l Convention and Exhibition Centre to open in Haikou this June
The project of Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Haikou is expected to be completed this June after the 17-month construction, which will become a landmark of the International Tourism Island of Hainan, reports xinhuanet.com.
Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Centre possesses a total construction area of 136,200 sqm with an investment of 1.38 billion yuan. The exhibition centre with an area of 70,000 sqm can provide 2,300 international stand booths and the conference centre with a total area of 35,000 sqm will have meeting rooms for conferences, banquets, VIP services and lectures.

The project of Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Centre is designed by the famous China Architecture Design & Research Group, the designer of Beijing National Olympic Stadium. Upon its completion, the centre will be a comprehensive place inte for exhibitions, shopping malls, information exchange, trade, tourism and hotels.
