According to the relevant departments, direct flights between Sanya and Singapore are set to open on June 16th, 2015.

The flights will be operated by Silk Air of Singapore and the route will run twice per week every Tuesday and Saturday on a Boeing 738 aircraft with 156 passenger seats.

Outbound flights depart Sanya at 11:00 a.m. and arrive in Singapore at 2:00 p.m., while return flights leave Singapore at 7:00 a.m. and arrive in Sanya at 10:00 a.m.

With beaches, lush tropical rainforests, hot springs and world-class golf resorts, Sanya—already one of China’s most popular tourism destinations—is now easily accessible to Singaporeans.

The new service is expected to meet local demand for travel in Singapore, as it cuts travel hours and costs.
