Following the launch of its tourism mascot collection and urban spirit initiatives, Sanya will take another major step forward in its efforts to establish its identity as an international tropical boutique scenic city by launching public bidding internationally for the design of the New Sanya Tourism Promo Video and is now inviting interested and qualified bidders to participate in bidding on the project.
 
It is regarded as one of the main initiatives in 2015 to attract more international tourists, and is being operated by the Sanya Tourism Development Commission with a budget of RMB3 million.
 
The new edition of the Sanya promo movie should be fully informative and not only based on the traditional natural elements but also highlighting the new development elements, like the low-altitude sightseeing tourism and cruise and culture tourism, which is indeed charming and enjoyed by many tourists.
 
According to the tourism authorities, the tourism promo video should fully integrate the cultural characteristics of Sanya by combining the elements of Sanya’s distinctive tourism resources and city orientation.
 
The design works of the project include a 3-minute promo video and six 15-second themed promo videos that bear the characteristics of weddings and honeymoons, family tours, healthcare, sporting events, forest exploration and cultural history for specific uses. All these tourism videos will be dubbed in 5 languages (Chinese, English, Russian, Japanese and South Korean).
