The Sanya Wedding Industry Conference 2015 kicked off at the Sanya Marriott Hotel Dadonghai Bay on May 22nd.
 
 
Nearly 400 representatives from 80 star-rated hotels, 15 scenic spots, 100 wedding photography companies and 30 wedding planning companies and industry associations attended the conference to gather and discuss, network and engage one another on the state of the industry and how to push it in the right direction.
 
 Zhou Chunhua, the Director of Sanya Tourism Development Commission, addressed a speech at the conference. 
 
Sanya is one of the preferred destinations in China for weddings and honeymoons amongst newlyweds from both home and abroad due to its fantastic tourism options and beautiful natural environments that are amongst the best in the world.
 
The city also has the most luxury hotels in China, with world-class amenities and services dedicated exclusively to handling weddings for out-of-town visitors and their wedding receptions.
 
With clear air, a pleasant tropical climate and rustic scenery for a wedding setting, new couples can celebrate their weddings and take photos on the beach, on yachts, on islands, under the water and in hot air balloons.
 
 
At the conference, some speakers suggested that the industry players share and integrate all available wedding resources and collaborate with each other to further boost local wedding tourism.

Sanya is among the top honeymoon and wedding destinations in China and there’s huge potential to increase the weddings and honeymoons segment. Cooperation between wedding-related enterprises will not only boost local wedding tourism, but also the catering and hotel sectors.
