Hainan’s 2 largest luxury cruise ships to make Sanya their homeport in 2016
According to the Sanya Port Bureau, two 150,000-ton luxury cruise ships will carry out cruise routes to Sansha, Hong Kong, Vietnam and neighboring destinations in the first half of 2016.
The luxury cruise ships, named “Juhang”, are under construction in Zhejiang and will become the 2 largest cruise ships in Hainan upon completion.
With a total length of 134.5 meters and a width of 20 meters, the 7-story cruise ship has 500 beds, as well as catering and entertainment facilities.
The two cruise ships are expected to make Sanya their home port as the city is now powering ahead with its plans to become an important international cruise homeport in Asia.
