At present, Sanya has 4 major public parks, namely Linchun Forest Park, Egret Park, a belt-like park along the Sanya Bay coastline and Mangrove Park, offering great choices for leisure and physical exercise for residents in the city.
According to the plan, a number of parks will be under construction within the next 5 years. They are the Yuechuan Wetland Park, YinBing Park, the belt-like park along Xiqing North Road, Fengxinglong Park, Minghua Park, Nanxin Park, Jinjiling Park, Haipo Park and Qinxin Park.
By the end of the 2020, the public green area per capita in Sanya will reach 19.48 square meters, and all homes will be within 300 meters of a green space and 500 meters of a leisure public park.
