The high season for Sanya’s MICE sector is picking up as the city has been seeing a large number of MICE and individual private tours since April.
 
From May 7-8, the Mangrove Tree Resort World Sanya Bay welcomed a large-scale MICE group when 4,000 visitors from a well-known domestic electronic company visited the resort for a two-day MICE tour.
 
Sanya is home to the most luxury hotels in China. Many of the hotels house huge facilities with ballrooms ranging from 300sqm to 1,400sqm in size. The high-quality hotels and resorts and the appealing climate make Sanya an attractive destination for leisure and corporate meetings and incentives.
 
To attract more corporate groups, the local government is working hard to promote Sanya’s image as a MICE destination in China.
 
Haitang Bay has been highlighted by tourist experts as one of the best regions in Sanya in terms of potential for MICE tourism development.
 
Besides, many travel agents in Sanya have begun developing marketing strategies to offer a series of all-in services at good prices for the boom in this kind of tourism.
