Sanya is launching a variety of measures and promotional campaigns to boost the city’s tourism industry during the upcoming off-season.

In a bid to further expand the overseas tourist market, the Sanya delegations attended some international tourism exhibitions including ITB Berlin, the 2015 Moscow International Exhibition Travel & Tourism Exhibition, the 4th IAGTO Asian Golf Tourism Conference and the Cruise Shipping Miami 2015.

A variety of high-end tourism products in Sanya, including marine tourism, hot-springs tourism, eco-tourism, golf tourism and folklore tourism were mainly promoted in the above tourism exhibitions.

Besides, Sanya is planning to give great attention to promoting tourism in the Southeast Asian markets, like Singapore, Korea and Japan to lure more overseas tourists.

Since the Korean Air Company launched regular flights between Sanya and Seoul, the number of Korean tourists visiting Sanya has been increasing rapidly.

As for domestic cities, the government also is working together with other counties and cities in Hainan to launch the Big Sanya Tourism Circle campaign to introduce special preferential tourism products to major domestic cities.
