Haikou and Sanya airports receive prestigious ASQ certification from ACI
Sanya Phoenix International Airport
Haikou Meilan Airport and Sanya Phoenix Airport were both recently honored with the Most Improved Airport award in satisfaction for ASQ (Airport Service Quality) from Airport Council International (ACI), according to recent reports.
Since Meilan Airport took part in the ACI program assessment in 2009, it has demonstrated itself as a leader in airport service quality by offering a user-friendly management framework which integrates best practices to improve all aspects of passenger experience.
Meanwhile, Sanya Airport has made it part of its strategy to improve its ASQ rating since February 2009. This year, the 3rd-phase expansion project of Sanya Phoenix International Airport is underway and is expected to be put into use ahead of the 2016 Chinese New Year Holiday. Upon the completion of the project, Sanya Airport will be able to serve 20-50 million passengers a year.
Since its creation in 2006, the ASQ Survey conducted by ACI has become the world’s leading airport passenger satisfaction benchmark program with over 200 airports participating.
