Haitang Bay Duty-free Shopping Center
 
According to the Haitang Bay Tourism Development Bureau, hotels and attractions in Haitang Bay welcomed more than 3.26 million tourist arrivals in the first three month of this year and the total tourism revenue reached 2.34 billion yuan.
 
Wuzhizhou Island and the Nantian Hot Spring scenic area received 651,882 and 197,650 tourists, respectively, and the local sea view hotels received 416,299 customers in the first 3 months of 2015.
 
During the holiday, the average hotel occupancy rate of seafront hotels in the region reached 77%, a year-on-year increase of 20.3%.
 
Meanwhile, the Haitang Bay Duty-free Shopping Center received 1.8 million visitors with total sales recorded at 173 million yuan.
 
The increase in the number of tourist arrivals certainly confirms the effectiveness of the local committee’s marketing campaign to encourage travel agents to develop and promote tours to Haitang Bay by launching the reward policy.
