Sanya’s Haitang Bay has attracted many large-scale enterprises from home and abroad to hold their annual conferences there with its charming sea views, abundant hotel resources, and advanced hi-tech conference facilities.
 
In the first quarter of this year, hotels and attractions in Haitang Bay welcomed a total of 3.26 million international and domestic tourists, and the total tourism revenue reached 607 million yuan, according to the Haitang Bay Management Committee.
 
In recent years, the growing MICE capacities and first-class facilities in Haitang Bay have driven the area toward being a favorable destination for business tourism. From January-March, a total of 200 enterprises chose to hold their important conferences in Haitang Bay.  
 
MICE tourism industry insiders in Sanya believe that the MICE tourism market in Haitang Bay will continue to expand after a large number of new high-end hotels are put into use in the region.
