Sanya releases room rates of 249 hotels for 2015 May Day holiday

The Sanya Price Control Bureau recently confirmed the room rates of 249 hotels for the upcoming May Day holiday.

According to the bureau, during these periods, the highest room rate is set 4,900 yuan per night while the lowest is 90 yuan per night. Most of the hotel room rates during the holiday period remain at the same level as last year.

The 249 hotels include 20 in Yalong Bay, 50 in Sanya Bay, 11 in Haitang Bay, 45 in Dadonghai areas, 106 in the downtown area, and 17 in other areas.

The prices of hotel rooms at Yalong Bay are between 1,000-2,600 yuan during the May Day Holiday, while in Sanya Bay are between 500-800 yuan per night and in Dadonghai are between 300-800 yuan per night.

In Haitang Bay, the highest room rate is 3,312 yuan per night and the lowest is 220 yuan per night.

All levels of hotels in the city are required to publicize the room rates in a prominent and clearly visible location in the hotel before April 21.

Local authorities will strengthen inspections on hotels in key regions during the upcoming holiday season. Any hotels found violating price regulations will be punished.
