Short-distance tours around Sanya city are experiencing a boom in business as the 3-day Qingming Festival approaches, according to local travel agencies.
 
Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb-sweeping Day, is one of one of the most important festivals in the Chinese lunar calendar. This year’s 3-day Qingming Festival starts on April 4th.
 
Compared with blue seas and white beaches, the short-distance tours around Sanya mainly feature tropical forests, fields of rice, betel nut plantations and mango farms, which are considered great holiday destinations.
 
The popular destinations for the one-to-two-day short-distance tours from Sanya are mainly Yanoda, Binglanggu Valley in Baoting County, Nanwan Monkey Island in Linshui County, Rainforest Canyon Drift in Wuzhishan City and Jianfengling National Park in Ledong County.
 
A series of surrounding tours not only provide a more relaxing atmosphere for travelers and allows them to get closer to nature, but also bring innovation to traditional tourism products in Sanya.
