Sanya has announced the start of work on a new tourist information center, aiming to allow tourists to enjoy more convenient public tourist services, according to the Sanya Tourism Development Commission.
 
The tourist service center, located at the former duty-free shop at the Xiayangtian Community downtown, covers an area of about 5,000 square meters. The center is divided into two sections, involving 9 functional areas.
 
The tourist service center will offer visitors information regarding travel, accommodation, food, transportation, shopping and recreation and will provide free consultancy and information.
 
Meanwhile, the center will accept complaints and transfer cases to the related administrations.
