Sanya will add 5 more visitor information centers around the city to better service international and domestic tourists.

 

The 5 visitor information centers are planned at the Sanya Bullet Train Station, Jiyang Park, the City Playground Square at Chunyuan Road, Haiyue Square and Yalong Bay Central Square. At present, the construction of the 5 visitor information centers is underway.

Currently, a total of 7 of these kinds of facilities have been placed across the major tourist attractions in Sanya since October 2010. They are located at Dadonghai Square, the Pedestrian Street Center, Sanya Phoenix Island International Cruise Terminal, Tianyahaijiao Scenic Spot, Dongtian Park and Lanhai Community in Sanya Bay.

These visitor information centres will be jointly operated by the government and enterprises, integrating the functions of information enquiry, tourist complaint handling and scenic spot displays advertisements.
