Sanya to open international flights to Osaka and Moscow
In order to expand its coverage on the international tourism market, two more air routes between Sanya and cities in Japan and Russia are expected to be opened this month, according to Sanya’s relevant departments.
The Sanya-Osaka air route, operated by the Southern China Airlines, will be launched on March 19th. Using the Airbus A320 or A321, the route will be operated with one flight every day and has a stop-over in Guangzhou.
The Sanya-Moscow air route, operated by China Eastern Airlines, will be launched on March 29. The flight will operate with two flights a week and has a stop-over in Shanghai.
During the period between 2004 and 2013, Russia and Japan ranked the first and third foreign tourist source markets in Sanya. The opening of the new routes will definitely further promote the already-booming tourism market in both regions.
