Travel agencies and hotels are promoting their competitive theme vacation products to meet the needs of family tourists and female tourists, who are becoming the main visiting forces during non-holiday periods as they seek to avoid an overly crowded vacation.
 
Many travel agencies in Sanya have prepared special routes for female tourists. The most popular themed-routes include flower sightseeing, hot springs and leisure shopping tours.
 
Besides, many family tourists are actively visiting Sanya’s scenic spots, such as the Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone, Wuzhizhou Island, Tianyahaijiao and Yalong Bay Tropical Forest Park.
 
The price quotes for Sanya tours have been dropping since the CNY holiday, contributing to the popularity of post holiday travel arrangements in Sanya. In addition, air ticket fares and hotel room rates have returned to normal levels since the end of the holiday season.
 
According to tour operators, female visitors are emerging as a main force for spring tourism as most of them are planning their holidays outside their hometowns.
