The 2015 6th Round Hainan Regatta will be held in Hainan March 21st- 28th, according to the press conference held recently at Qingshui Bay in Lingshui County. 
 
The opening ceremony of the regatta will be held in Sanya on March 21st.
 
The regatta route takes it around Hainan Island, starting off at Sanya Serenity Marina, wrapping around the island to the east coast of Haikou, Wanning, Lingshui and returning back to Sanya.
 
This year’s Round Regatta has attracted applicant teams with distinct features, including Hainan’s first professional sailing team — Hainan Sport School Team, Hong Kong Windward, who have sailed in Europe’s top five regattas and accomplished great success, Hunter 45 led by the “One-arm captain” Xu Jingkun and two other teams from YC Navygator Club in Russia.
 
Sailing teams will be divided into six groups, including IRC1-5 and Far East18R.
 
This year, all the teams will sail in the new One-Design RHN-Dubois50, which means they have exactly the same boat and competitive opportunities as everyone else in the race.
