Ticket prices for outbound flights in Sanya see sharp post-holiday decline
Ticket prices for flights departing from Sanya post-holiday have declined sharply, according to reports.
This is in sharp contrast to the ticket prices for flights arriving during the holiday, which have soared since mid-January.
According to reports, Sanya is among the list of the Top Ten destinations in the country for the 2015 Chinese New Year holiday.
According to Ctrip.com, a leading travel service provider in China, most ticket prices for flights departing from Sanya will be on sale from March 6th. For instance, flights from Sanya to Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing are offering discounts of up to 50%.
Meanwhile, the drop in the air ticket prices also affects the tourism market. Passengers who want to spend an affordable holiday can purchase low-priced tickets during this period.
The low prices will last until the end of this March.
