Hundreds of thousands of people on Monday visited the Long Wu Ye Temple at the Sanya Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone to pray for good fortune on the birthday of the God of Wealth, which is considered to be the fifth day of the Chinese lunar New Year and falls on Feb 23 this year.
 
Sanya Nanshan Tourism Zone received 44,000 tourists on the day, and individual travel was the main force.
 

 
Self-driving tours and short family tours became the main contributors of visitors to the Sanya Nanshan Tourism Zone. According to statistics, a total of 4,000 self-driving vehicles came to Nanshan with 11,000 visitors.
 
The God of Wealth welcoming ceremony was one of many activities that were held, designed to enrich the cultural experience at the Nashan Cultural Tourism Zone.
 
Alongside the blessing ceremony, a series of folk tourism activities have been held at the site, such as Qiong Opera, wealth card distribution and folk performances.
