Due to the huge number of tourists heading to Sanya to celebrate this year’s Spring Festival holiday, the city’s average hotel booking rate during the holiday reached 62.9% as of February 12th, according to the latest information released by the Sanya Holiday Tourism Office.

 

The average booking rate of the hotels in Yalong Bay was 65.37%, while 64.89% in Haitang Bay area, 60.37% in Sanya Bay area, 61.85% in Dadonghai area and 47.12% in downtown center area.

 

The average room price of the frontline seaview hotels in Yalong Bay is around 5,000-6,000 yuan per night, and the price of the similar hotels in Haitang Bay is around 3,500 yuan per night.

 

According to tourism authorities, the three-star and four-star hotels still have rooms available for visitors during the holiday.

 

It is expected that 800,000 tourists will visit Sanya during the Spring Festival holiday (from February 18th to 24th).
