In an effort to ensure smooth travel for tourists, Sanya’s relevant departments recently released the general public tourism service information for the 2015 Chinese New Year holiday covering accommodations, transport, as well as tourism entertainment.
 
Accommodations
 

 
As of now, a total of 243 hotels across the city have registered and recorded at the city’s tourism department.
 
Among them include 22 in Yalong Bay, 47 in Sanya Bay, 13 in Haitang Bay, 40 in Dadonghai areas, 112 in downtown Sanya and 9 in other areas. These hotels offer 47,228 rooms with 79,271 total beds.
 
According to the release, the rate cap for hotel rooms among the 17 high-end hotels during the holiday is set at 5,999 yuan per night.
 
Tourism entertainment
 
1.       3rd Art Sanya Season 2015 at Sanya Yalong Bay Huayu Resort Hotel
 
 
Nearly 100 works of art including paintings, sculptures, art installations, and photographs from 50 contemporary young artists from China are on display at Sanya Yalong Bay Huayu Resort Hotel. The exhibition will last till March 20th, 2015,
 
2.       11th Dragon–Head–Raising Festival at Nanshan Dongtian Park
 
 
The 11th Dragon–Head–Raising Festival (Long Tai Tou Festival) will take place at Sanya Nanshan Dongtian Park on March 21st.
 
3.  2015 Sanya International Carnival in New Town, Sanya
 
 
The 2015 Sanya International Carnival kicked off on January 21st at the New Town in Sanya Bay, providing a fun place for tourists and residents to enjoy featured cuisine, tourism, leisure, entertainment, and more. The event will run for a total of 100 days.
 
Transport
Taxis
 
 
Sanya now has a total of 1,900 taxis running on the roads, and 500 more will be added to the market ahead of Spring Festival.
 
Parking lots
 
 
There are 24 commercial parking lots in the city, offering 13,334 parking spaces. Besides, the government has built 44 temporary parking lots, offering an additional 9,700 parking spaces for free.
 
Fireworks restrictions

During the period between February 18 and February 24, 2015, the
 

fireworks displays are allowed to organize in Haitang Bay Rose Valley Square in Yalong Bay, Dadonghai Square and Luhuitou Square from 6:00pm till 12:40am the next day.
