Sanya to issue new rules to regulate uncivilized behaviors in Sanya Bay
Sanya is starting to carry out rules that will further regulate uncivilized behavior in Sanya Bay.
With the rising number of tourists from November till next March, the 17.8-km-long Sanya Bay has become a popular site for many tourists as well as residents to stay and enjoy their holiday.
However, the excessive tourism levels also cause environmental problems for Sanya Bay. Some ignorant tourists often show no respect for such a beautiful place with their improper tourist practices.
“We have tried to persuade them to be civilized but it seems to be useless,” one resident said. “In Sanya Bay, some people have still been found parking e-bikes and three-wheel motorcycles on sidewalks, beaches and green belts or hanging hammocks on public green belts. The lawn and trees there have been damaged and abused,” a cleaning worker said at the site.
