To make it convenient for tourists to tour the local attractions, the Sanya government has opened free tour bus services running between Tianyahaijiao Scenic Spot and Dongtian Park on February 4th, 2015.
 
The buses, running from Tianyahaijiao to Dongtian Park, will run every 15 minutes from 8:30 am to 5:50 pm. The whole journey is about 25.3 km long.
 
The service has been highly praised by tourist authorities as many scenic spots in Sanya are looking for ways to draw more tourists to take public transportation.
 
It is hoped that the move will encourage more scenic areas to launch similar services to make traveling in Sanya easier for tourists.
